Welcome to PSK-Adult Education Centre, one of the the leading vocational adult learning centres in Northern Finland. PSK serves the educational and training needs of more than 2,000 adults annually in Finland. Most of our activities take place in Oulu region and in Middle and Northern Finland, but we also have activities increasingly in other parts of the country, especially in capital area.
PSK has a history starting from the year 1990. During this period it has developed itself to be a comprehensive centre of vocational excellence in areas of entrepreneurship and business, leadership and management, information technology, social and healthcare, natural resources and environment, immigrant training and language skills training. In these areas we offer both degree programmes and other training and education possibilities. Services are aimed at both individuals and organisations.
PSK training programmes focus on enabling of the skills and expertise that are essential in the modern workplace. We seek to give our customers the skills and knowledge with which they will perform excellently not only in today's challenging working environment, but also in future. For organisations, we can offer individualised training packages for the exact needs.
We seek to make learning an increasingly personal matter through a more individual and tailored approach to training. We also have developed the use of modern online learning platform alternatives that enable flexible and distant learning. Our teaching personnel has wide experience on training topics' substance, but we also pay constantly attention to our teaching and training personnel's educational skills and aim to develop them.
